all the images are available as soon as you get signed for Amazon EC2. After getting signed, you need to go to amazon AWS console. Next step is to click the button for AWS console and you will get the list of all available shared AMIs.

This is a very well done image. Thank you for putting this together. I would caution that it is not a complete set of packages. You cannot recompile PHP for example due to missing 'devel' packages. Examples zlib-devel, libxml-devel, openssl-devel and others. One other thing, the new yum repositiories are not configured, you will need to set that up as well.

Only the AMI for Oracle 11.1.0.7 64-bit appears on the EU-West AMI Search
For all the Oracle AMI's you need to use US-East.
Is this a work in progress or will these AMI's only be available on one region?
Thanks,
Alan...

Pain-free Oracle 11g installation, Sep 23, 2008 4:16 PM

Normally Oracle is a nightmare to install. However, what’s amazing is how pain-free this was to get going. Oracle really did a good job.
