Based on the Getting Started on Fedora Core 8 AMI (AMI ID: ami-3c47a355), this AMI contains:
- Fedora Core 8
- 32-bit architecture
- Java JDK 7 (1.7.0)
- Tomcat 5.5.27
- Apache 2.2.9
- MySQL 5.0.45
The default page manager login is admin/password. Please change this immediately after you launch the instance.

Great AMI. Has the above mentioned software all installed and ready to go.
MySQL login is root without a password.
After launching this AMI, I just deployed my .war via the Tomcat Manager and it just worked! No errors. The .war included:
- Spring 2.5
- Hibernate 3.2.5 with MySQL 5.x
- Wicket 1.3
- Sitemesh 2.2.1
- Quartz 1.6.2
I also used this AMI in writing a How To on creating your own custom AMI with MySQL storage on EBS. Hope it will be useful for some.
