The purpose of the CentOS 5.2 base image is to provide a convenient starting point for building solid Amazon EC2 servers. It has a CentOS 5.2 base install, EC2 tools, and standard networking tools.

Description
RightScale Inc., the leader in cloud computing management, continues to offer publicly available base AMIs that contain everything you need to build a solid server on Amazon EC2. Use the 32-bit version for launching small and medium instance types. Use the 64-bit version for all other instance types. RightImages (32bit, 64bit) are available in both EC2-US and EC-EU regions.
RightImages™ are designed to give you exactly what you need to build a stable Amazon EC2 server, but also give you the control and flexibility to customize each image depending on your machine's requirements. You can use the RightImage as is, customize it using our preconfigured RightScripts™ or develop your own custom scripts. Each RightImage AMI has a CentOS5.2 base install, EC2 tools, standard networking, and Internet tools.

- Image that automatically uses our build script
