Description

Basic Windows 2003 server, hardened specifically for Amazon EC2 cloud environment.

The image hardening was preformed in accordance with Cloud Security Tools (www.cloudsecuritylabs.com) best practices.

Cloud Security Image Hardening implements existing know-how from reputable security standards such as Microsoft, DISA etc. to enable Cloud images to work seamlessly in a generic Amazon EC2 environment.

A strong security posture is maintained, while enabling remote management and generic applicability to various server tasks

The IIS web server is hardened to prevent exploitation of known vulnerabilities and attack vectors, while enabling a variety of web applications to run effectively in an Amazon Web Services cloud environment.

ClamWin Anti Virus provides world-class virus protection in an Open Source software package. ClamWin provides fast file scanning, continuous virus signature updates and a friendly UI.
