Ruby Sample Lib Packaged as Ruby Gem under Ruby License, Dec 14, 2006 12:44 PM
Reviewer: Glenn D Rempe
Hello all, I am pleased to announce that the sample code released by Amazon for using Ruby to interface with the EC2 service using the Query API has been converted by me into a Ruby Gem ready for your easy use. This new gem is hosted on RubyForge (amazon-ec2.rubyforge.org) under the Ruby License and can be installed for your use with the command 'sudo gem install amazon-ec2' or just 'gem install amazon-ec2' for windows users (You may have to do a 'gem update' prior to this to make sure you have the latest list of gems available to install. Be sure to check out the README.txt file to learn more about using this gem and a few bits of example code. I hope you find this useful and I would be very interested if you would report issues or bugs with this code on the RubyForge site. Even better, if you can contribute tests, patches for bug fixes or enhancements, or rdoc comments for the code that would be awesome. Enjoy, Glenn glenn @nospam@ elasticworkbench.com
