Docs: AWS Import/Export (Version 1.2) Beta
This release supports exporting data from the AWS cloud onto storage devices you mail to AWS. To support this new functionality, we added new manifest parameters and a new e-mail command, CREATE EXPORT PLAN. Now you can take advantage of Amazon's high speed, internal network to export vast amounts of data to your storage devices.

Docs: AWS Import/Export (Version 1.1) Beta
This is the first release of AWS Import/Export. This service enables you to ship your data on your storage device to Amazon Web Services (AWS) so that we can use Amazon's high-speed network to load your data into AWS, such as onto Amazon S3. You can send AWS as many storage devices as you want, any time you want, and load any amount of data you want. Once we load your data you can use it with any AWS service. AWS Import/Export frees you to focus on building solutions instead of figuring out how to get large amounts of data into the cloud.
