EC2 beta waiting list update

Just a quick note to let you know that we have begun adding users from the EC2 waiting list into the beta. Early this morning, we sent e-mails to everyone on the EC2 waiting list. If you did not receive an email, and wish to be in the beta, please make sure you sign up for both the EC2 waiting list (
http://aws.amazon.com/ec2) and Amazon S3 (
http://aws.amazon.com/s3) as soon as possible, and ensure that you have a valid payment method associated with your AWS account. (If you do not have a valid payment method, you will have received an email from us letting you know – you can update your payment method at the following URL if you need to:
https://aws-portal.amazon.com/gp/aws/developer/account/index.html?action=edit-payment-method). If you have not signed up for Amazon S3 or don’t have a valid payment method, we won’t be able to give you access when capacity becomes available.

I got an email last week. But never added to EC2 and never got a second email as I been told in the first email. How long does it take or do you add them on next batch of beta people?

I never received any emails, though I'm fairly certain I signed up for the waiting list (and S3) a little before this latest announcement.

I got my "Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud Sign-Up Confirmation" today, a week after their early-warning message, and 18 days after applying for a beta account.

We are pleased to announce that we have enabled all accounts on the EC2 waitlist that had an Amazon S3 subscription and a valid payment method
Additionally, we’ve opened up a limited number of additional spots in the beta program. If you’re still looking for access, you can sign up now at
http://aws.amazon.com/ec2 until these spots are filled. We will continue to open up additional capacity as quickly as possible. Thanks again for your patience as we've increased our capacity to support additional customers.
