Payment by credit card please!

Hello!

Are there any concrete plans to add credit cards as a method for adding $$ to a Requester account?  I am dealing with substantial university bureaucracy, and the bank-account-only limitation is causing me a lot of headaches.  I can't be alone in that.

Thanks!

I'm able to use a bank account, but I hate that it takes a week for my payment to be credited.  Plus I'd love it if I could have funds automatically added when it gets down to a certain level.

We also have difficulties with the week lag, and would be very very happy to see a CC payment method.

And having an automatic way to add funds is an excellent idea.

Alternate forms of payment for requesters, including credit cards is one of our top priorities for future releases of Mechanical Turk.

As per Amazon.com policy, we are unable to provide specific dates or details around features in upcoming releases.

Thanks

I think Turk is a great idea, but this is probably one of the biggest problems with Turk adoption by developers as compared to other Amazon services.  EC2 and S3 are fast and easy for developers to start using with their normal Amazon accounts.

I was really unpleasantly surprised at the time lag.  I'd pay a higher commission on HITs if it meant I could use credit card funding or monthly billing like EC2.

Yes, Yes, CC payment. This is a huge deal in my company. We would be creating a bank account just for Turk. This could take a month to complete!

I'm adding my 2 cents as well.  Credit card payment would be great.  I'm understanding of credit card processing fees, however and understand some of the benefits to Bank Account withdraws.  I would be in favour of continuing using Bank Account withdraws backed by a Credit Card to make the funds immediately available.  Although amazon would still have to wait the 3-5 days for the Bank Account available, the funds could no longer be in a pending state, and could be used.  If for any reason the Bank Account transfer fails, the Credit Card could be charged and penatly fees could be charged to compensate for the overhead.

Thoughts?
